The Journey That Brought Me Here

I grew up in the kitchen with my mother and brother. We each had our role in preparing dinner, and somewhere in those early meals I learned that cooking was more than just making food. It was care, connection, and time spent together.

Life eventually led me down other paths. I became a sign language interpreter, worked with seniors living with Alzheimer’s, and volunteered in hospice care for many years. Later I trained as an integrative holistic health coach.

Then my own health challenges changed everything.

Food, which had always been part of my life, suddenly took on a more important role. Ayurvedic nutrition and culinary training transformed the way I cooked and experienced food, and the community I found along the way shaped the journey even further.

What began as a personal search for healing became the foundation for everything I do today.
