​Let me guide you towards a healthier lifestyle by understanding how to cook for your optimal self.

What you eat affects how you feel and how you connect with others. Personal cooking instruction is for people who want to change their eating habits to a cleaner diet and for those with specific health issues who want to heal their body with the power of food. Together, we will work toward establishing meals that meet your health objectives and learn to cook with nutritious foods that can address specific illnesses (e.g. diabetes, immune health, stomach and digestive problems, muscle or joint problems, oral health, cholesterol issues, high blood pressure). You will gain confidence in the kitchen, which will empower you to take control of your health.
 
The journey will begin with our initial meeting to discuss health concerns and dietary preferences. You will receive a customized food chart with healing ingredients and menu options suited for your taste.  We will then review the menu together and finalize a plan to satisfy your health goals. Finally, you can choose from the options below to customize an experience that best suits your needs. You will learn how to cook in your kitchen and together, we will cook meals that allow you to eat your way to better health.

​Definition of services

  • Grocery tour: Understand what you are buying, where your food comes from and how to choose fresh foods.
  • Best practices for quick and fresh meal prep: Learn tips to preserve the food you buy for ultimate freshness and food preparation techniques to save time cooking.
  • Kitchen/pantry makeover: Understand what healthy, non-toxic cookware and equipment is and how to best care for it. Understand what products are in your pantry and what they do to your health.
  • Kitchen staples: These are kitchen must-haves including personalized spice blends to enhance nutrients and flavor in your cooking. Homemade healing broth, homemade yogurt, homemade almond milk, and homemade coconut milk.
  • Customized food chart and recipes: Personalized meals that benefit your health goals. This will include, soups, starters, snacks, entrees, sauces, teas and sweets.
As your Food Health Coach, I will listen carefully to your needs and goals. We will navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice together to explore what truly works for you.
